Theatre Royal Plymouth - Lies

Theatre Royal Plymouth - Lies

Money. It’s all about money.

Imagine you are super rich, part of the elite 1% who pull the strings at the very heart of the economic system. For one night, sit at the table and play the system from within. Bring some cash, because tonight you call the shots. Your decisions shape the course we’re all about to take. And who knows, you might make the world a better place, fairer, more responsible, because you'll do things differently…

LIES is the tenth Theatre Royal Plymouth co-production with internationally acclaimed theatre company Ontroerend Goed. They return to Theatre Royal Plymouth Thursday 7 - Saturday 24 June before taking the show to the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Theatre-performance-group Ontroerend Goed produces self-devised work grounded in the here and now, inviting their audiences to participate as well as observe. With every new piece of work, Ontroerend Goed provides an intense experience constructed in reality; life goes on during the performance. The company has won numerous prizes across Europe and has appeared New York, Sydney, London and Hong Kong to critical acclaim. Their work continues to be performed in countries around the world.

LIES is a co-production between Ontroerend Goed, Arts Centre Vooruit Gent, Theatre Royal Plymouth and Richard Jordan Productions.

Tickets are priced at £15 and they can be booked online at or by calling the Theatre Royal Plymouth Box Office on 01752 267222. Concessions are available.
