Sweatshop

The brain-child of Chris Brasher, founder of the London marathon and Olympic gold medal winner, the first Sweatshop store opened in Teddington in 1971. Chris Brasher became part of athletics history on 6th May 1954 by helping to pace Sir Roger Bannister to the first sub four minute mile. After winning gold at the 1956 Olympics, Chris went on to be the co-founder of the now iconic London Marathon. At Sweatshop we believe that every runner, from absolute beginner to international athlete, should have access to the very best equipment. That’s why we have the largest range of technical running shoes in the UK and train our staff to industry leading levels to help you find your perfect shoe.
